Goldener Hirsch Inn Wins Best U.S. Ski Boutique Hotel In World Ski Awards

Goldener Hirsch Inn, nestled mid-mountain at the world-renowned Deer Valley Resort, maintains top honors as the United States’ Best Ski Boutique Hotel 2020 in the World Ski Awards. Award winners were virtually unveiled on worldskiawards.com on Friday, November 20, the organization’s inaugural WSA Winners Day.

Despite the incredible challenges faced by the tourism industry over the course of 2020, this year’s World Ski Awards program saw record breaking voting numbers from ski tourism consumers, while the organization’s website continues to receive more search traffic than in any previous year. Out of seven U.S. boutique hotel nominees, Goldener Hirsch Inn earned the highest distinction in this category for the third consecutive year and for the fifth time since the awards began in 2013 (2013, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020).

“We are extremely proud and humbled to be voted the best ski boutique hotel in the nation again this year,” said Tyler Mugford, Goldener Hirsh general manager. “The record number of voters and their enthusiasm for this year’s World Ski Awards is very encouraging as we head into a fresh new winter season, and we look forward to providing the unforgettable Goldener Hirsch experience to both first-time visitors and loyal guests.”

This award follows the recent unveiling of the property’s contemporary expansion which includes 40 brand new luxury, residential condominiums. Featuring sleek, modern hotel rooms and multi-bedroom floor plans, the Goldener Hirsch includes new amenities such as a rooftop pool and gym, a plaza bridge connecting the original and new buildings as well as sunlit courtyards, a café, and ski valet.

The virtual WSA Winners Day replaces the annual World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony held in Kitzbühel this year to provide a safe, yet vital, platform to celebrate this year’s winners.
