From 27 To 29 June The Oakley Bike Community Days In Alta Badia:

Summer starts with energy in Alta Badia. From 27 to 29 June the Oakley Community Days will take place , an event open to all, which combines sport, inclusion and fun in an exceptional setting: the Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site.
For three days, Corvara and the Piz La Ila plateau are transformed into a large village dedicated to mountain biking and outdoor activities, with a program that involves families, athletes, children and people with disabilities .
The heart of the event will be the Oakley Village set up at Piz La Ila, in front of the famous Moritzino refuge, together with the Bike Beats – Movimënt Trails routes , the flow trails of Alta Badia where enthusiasts will be able to pedal alongside Oakley ambassadors and athletes, along panoramic descents, technique and lots of fun.
The Oakley Community Days are part of the Movimënt summer season , which runs from June 14 to October 5 with a packed calendar of sports, wellness and family-friendly events. The project, created to enhance summer at high altitude, has become a point of reference for active tourism in the Dolomites.
" With the Oakley Community Days we celebrate a living, open and inclusive mountain, where everyone can find their own space, their own rhythm and their own passion - declares Alessandro Huber of Movimënt Alta Badia - We believe that sport, if shared and made accessible, can be a powerful tool for connecting people and the environment. This event is a concrete example of the direction we want to follow: a mountain for everyone, experienced with authenticity and community spirit ".
Among the new features of summer 2025, there is also the launch of a project to map routes accessible to people with motor disabilities, the result of the collaboration between Movimënt, Freerider Sport Events and Oakley , with the aim of making the mountains increasingly inclusive and accessible . A long-term vision that aims to extend the initiative to other Dolomite areas.
High altitude activities for everyone
Not just MTB: the program offers activities designed to involve every age group and level. Product tests, workshops for children, guided experiences and Oakley branded prizes will liven up the days, in an atmosphere of sharing and community.
Saturday 28th June, the appointment is at the legendary Murin in Corvara : aperitif, DJ set and live music will accompany the evening until late at night. An opportunity to socialize, dance and end a day in the open air in style.
The Freerider Sport Events association will be present , active for over twenty years in promoting sports for people with physical disabilities. Thanks to special wheelchairs with 4-wheel drive, even those with neuromotor disabilities will be able to participate, exploring the plateau independently, on paths and dirt roads.
" Participating in an event like Oakley Community Days allows us to demonstrate, in a concrete way, that sport is truly for everyone - says Nicola Busata , founder of Freerider Sport Events - Seeing kids and adults with disabilities tackle the Dolomite trails with autonomy and a smile is the most beautiful testimony of the value of the mountains. Our mission is to break down barriers, mental even before physical, and create spaces where disability is not a limit, but an opportunity ".
