Free Skiing This Sunday As Mt Buller Celebrates 75 Years Of Ski Patrol

Mt Buller is wrapping up the 2025 snow season in style this Sunday 5 October, inviting guests to ski and snowboard for FREE with a donation to Mt Buller Ski Patrol to celebrate their 75th anniversary.

After fresh snowfall yesterday, blue skies and mild temps are forecast for the weekend - perfect spring skiing for the 121st and final day of the season. It's the ideal chance to squeeze in a few last laps, soak up the sunshine, and join the club of skiers and riders who can say they hit Mt Buller in October. In return for free skiing, guests are asked to donate to support the Ski Patrol, including 33 volunteer patrollers who have kept the mountain safe this season and every year since 1950.

“Sunday’s on us – and we’re asking guests to pay it forward to the people who keep us safe,” said Noel Landry, General Manager, Buller Ski Lifts. “Our Ski Patrol has looked after this mountain for 75 years, and this is a simple way to say thanks. Come up for a final spring slide, make a donation, and help us send the season out on a high.”

Guests can load a complimentary lift pass to their B-Tags for Sunday 5 October, and make their donation via www.mtbullerskipatrol.com.au/donate or scan QR codes at the ticket office.

Mt Buller will welcome skiers back to the slopes again in June 2026, with Early Bird Season Memberships on sale now until 31 October 2025 including Ikon Pass add-on options to over 60 resorts worldwide.
