Faction Topping Podiums In X Games Aspen

Faction, the disruptive ski and outdoor clothing brand, had a great success topping podiums in Aspen over the weekend!

Returning for the 18th year, X Games Aspen 2019 kicked off Thursday night. Athletes riding Factions skis performed in front of a crowd of 9,000 at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen Snowmass, Colorado, alongside other top Ski, Snowboard, Snowmobile, Snow Bike and Moto athletes, with world-class musical performances and an interactive festival village experience.

Over the course of the weekend, Faction athletes Kelly Sildaru, Alex Hall and Alex Ferreira took home seven medals in disciplines from Slopestyle to Big Air.

Kelly Sildaru won three medals (Silver in Pipe, Gold in Slope, Bronze in Big Air) and is the first athlete ever to win 3 medals at one single X-Games, completing her sweep in less than 26 hours. Kelly scored 99 in slopestyle, which is the highest score recorded in a ski event (men's and women's) at a Winter X Games and makes it a great comeback for her this season after missing out on the Olympics a year ago due to a knee injury.
