Demaclenko: Snowmaking Above Freezing At Stelvio Pass

Snow production at temperatures above the freezing point - that's what Snow4Ever stands for. The most recent testimony of DEMACLENKO's groundbreaking snowmaking technology can be admired on the Stelvio Pass in Italy. Since July, the machine has been operating there completely autonomously and ensures the snow reliability of the slopes.
On the Stelvio Pass, a mountain pass between the Italian regions of Trentino Alto Adige and Lombardy, is one of the last summer ski resorts in the Alps. National ski teams from all over Europe regularly train here in the summer months to prepare for the new season. This year snow safety is assured by DEMACLENKO's Snow4Ever, the answer to the demand for optimal snowmaking solutions at temperatures above 0°C. Since July, the machine has been producing snow, which is used for the preparation of the slopes. The outcome: About 300 m3/week at daytime temperatures of 14° Celsius.
A scientific innovation inside the system allows this type of snowmaking, where real snowflakes emerge regardless of the outside temperatures and without chemical additives due to crystal formation. Thanks to a centrally controlled remote control, the fully automatic technology can also be easily integrated into existing snowmaking systems.
