Courchevel Ready For Winter 20 - 21

Courchevel is ready for 20 - 21. Alexia Lainé, Marketing and Sales Promotion Director says:

“This winter, we want to highlight Courchevel’s values through its fascinating female personalities. In 1908, a woman, Agathe Curtet, opened the first café-restaurant in the valley, in SaintBon. It marked the beginnings of the development of summer tourism. In the 1970s, Raymonde Fenestraz made her mark on history by building the Airelles Courchevel hotel and numerous chalets, which helped build the resort’s international reputation.

We would like to invite you to discover the profiles of today’s women who are just like those pioneers: sportswomen awed by our mountains, Chefs proud of the local terroir and multi-talented ski instructors... These Courchevel women are the souls of the resort. Discover their inspirational stories throughout this press kit.

As a local, and newly appointed Marketing and Commercial Promotion Director at Courchevel Tourisme, it was important to
me to pay tribute to all those female personalities who have influenced the development of the resort, including a woman
who has been dedicated to it for more than 40 years. Marcelle Perrot began her career at the reception of the Tourist Office
when everything was in the early stages of development and finished as its Director. A challenge which she met brilliantly.
More than ever, Courchevel is in a position to offer you memorable moments with family or friends while still respecting health and safety measures. Integrity and care are part of our DNA.

Thanks to our high levels of service, we adapt to the ever-changing circumstances to offer tailor-made and enchanting holidays. If you would like to follow in our ambassadors’ footsteps, join us this winter season, starting 5th December.”
