Courchevel and the Tour de France share common values in terms of sporting and social commitments. Thus, on the sidelines of the 17th stage of the Tour de France, of which Courchevel is the arrival city, the town will host the 9th edition of the project " Donnons ELLES au vélo J-1" and will organize a collection of used mobile phones with Ecosystem . A cyclosportive taking the last 35 kilometers of the 17th stage will also take place two days before the riders' arrival in Courchevel.
The Ascent of the Tour - July 17, 2023
Wednesday July 19 celebrates the great return of the Tour de France to Courchevel after 18 years of absence. The town is the arrival city of the 17th stage of the Tour de France 2023. Already announced as the queen stage of this 2023 edition, it is certain that the riders will keep traces of the climb of the Col de la Loze with certain passages at more 20%, to complete their race at the Altiport which will require a final effort on an 18% climb.
In line with the Stage of the Tour de France, the Ascension du Tour will take place on Monday July 17, i.e. 2 days before the official arrival of the Grande Boucle in Courchevel. A unique opportunity to experience the passage of the Col de la Loze, pass classified out of category, on the same roads and in conditions almost identical to those of the professional cyclists of the Tour de France. This climb over the last 35 kilometers from Brides-Les-Bains to arrive on the airstrip of the Altiport of Courchevel Michel Ziegler will be a great first!
For this first edition of the Ascension du Tour, one of the legends of cycling and consultant on France Television will be the sponsor: Laurent Jalabert!

Large collection of telephones for the benefit of people in difficulty, by Ecosystem
Partners of the Tour de France for several years, Ecosystem offers every year a large solidarity collection of telephones. Courchevel is part of this approach and will provide residents and visitors with various collection points from June 5 to July 10, 2023. Everyone can drop off their unused mobile phones there. All types of mobiles are accepted, including broken phones. Personal data that may still be on the devices will of course be erased. All the phones collected will then be recycled.
Giving away your unused phone is therefore a simple civic action, which allows you to get rid of an obsolete object while doing good for the planet!
Want to donate your phone?
Nothing's easier ! All you have to do is go to a collection point and drop off your mobile (without shell or SIM card) in the box provided for this purpose.

Let's give THEM to the bike D-1
Donons des ELLES au vélo J-1 is an associative project. Created in 2015, this project brings together, in the form of an amateur cycling team, a dozen women who complete all 21 stages of the Tour de France, one day before the official passage of the riders.
On each stage, 35 women and 35 men will be able to register for free to join the runners on the roads.
Thus, on July 18, 2023, the peloton Donnons des ELLES au vélo D-1 will cross the finish line of stage 17 of the Tour de France at the Altiport of Courchevel Michel Ziegler.
Created and supported by the Essonne cycling club Donnons des ELLES au vélo - Evry Courcouronnes, mainly female, the Donnons des ELLES au vélo J-1 project aims to promote and develop women's cycling in France.
