Large sections of the valley station will be completely renovated and replaced with a new, barrier-free infrastructure, including a 1,500 m² sports shop.
- Investment: New construction of the aerial tramway 10 million euros / Total investment volume 15 million euros
Cable car technology: Leitner - Furthermore, a new toboggan run is to be built from the mountain station to the Zammer Alm.
Benedikt Lentsch said "As mayor, I am very pleased that we made this decision last year and found a strong partner for the Venet Bergbahnen in the PLETZER Group. My goal has always been to sustainably develop our local mountain so that it will remain with us in the future and be available to the local population – young and old – as a leisure facility and local recreation area. Construction work began today. Thanks to the entire supervisory board for their excellent cooperation."
This cable car connects the village of Zams to one of the prettiest mountains in the Tirol West region. The mountain can also be accessed from the village of Fließ to the south via a two-man chairlift. However they choose to ascend, visitors can look forward to spectacular views of the Venet Mountains once they reach the top. The top station is also the starting point for plenty of easy walks and challenging hikes to nearby huts, meadows and vantage points. Children will find plenty to see and do in the "Tonis Erlebniswelt" adventure play area. Another highlight not to be missed is the "Tiroler Edle" trail leading past the Gogles Alm hut to the Naturparkhaus Kaunergrat.
