Christian Kubli Is New CEO At Pizolbahnen
The Board of Directors of Pizolbahnen AG has appointed Christian Kubli (50) as the new Managing Director. Christian Kubli, a profound expert in the ski and hiking area and a hands-on practitioner with a convincing track record, will assume operational management of Pizolbahnen. The new CEO will assume his position on June 1, 2025.
A trained mechanical engineer with further qualifications as a federally certified technician (TS) and a certified industrial engineer (NDS), Christian Kubli also holds an Executive Diploma in SME Management from the University of St. Gallen. Christian Kubli is married, has two children (born in 2010 and 2012), and lives in Azmoos, St. Gallen. He is active in sports, often in the mountains, and is closely involved with skiing and racing. Due to his training, his broad professional experience in both specialist and management areas, and his proverbial passion for the Pizol, Christian Kubli was elected to the Board of Directors of Pizolbahnen AG in October 2020. After several years at Ivoclar Vivadent, Hörbiger, and Ortlinghaus, Christian Kubli spent the last nine years as Head of Sales and Operations Planning and Process Excellence at Hilcona AG (part of the international Bell Food Group) in Schaan. "I am honored and very pleased to now lead Pizolbahnen into the future together with the team. The Pizol – my local mountain since childhood – is a unique skiing and hiking area with great potential and diverse design possibilities," the newly elected CEO underlines his ambitions.
The Board of Directors of Pizolbahnen is convinced that in Christian Kubli, they have chosen a person who is ideally suited to successfully continue the Pizol's current path while simultaneously setting new standards. With Christian Kubli, the Pizolbahnen hopes to consolidate and expand the position it has achieved over the past few years as a first-class and attractive ski and hiking area. Christian Kubli prevailed over numerous candidates in a multi-stage and intensive evaluation process.
