​Chambery Savoie Mont Blanc Airport Goes The Extra Mile For Its Customers

The winter season officially started on 12 December 2017 at Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport with the 1st flight from Manchester. It was the first of many flights carrying skiers between the UK and the French Alps.

There are direct flights to Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport from 8 airports in the UK, with two airlines: British Airways and Fly Be. British Airways has flights from London City, London Stansted, and new for this winter, Manchester.

210 000 passengers will arrive at Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport this winter,  the easiest gateway to France’s most popular ski resorts: Paradiski, 3 Vallées, Tignes, Val d’Isère and many more.

During the winter holidays, the airport organises special entertainments for its guests.

On 23 December, passengers of TUI’s new flights for this season will be welcome by the famous après-ski band La Folie Douce Méribel. The gig will take place at the front of the airport, and Méribel tourism will be present with stands of local products to taste – and tired travellers will be able to enjoy free massages before getting into their bus to reach the resorts.

Similar fun events will take place during half term. In April there is the Smiling Day, when all the airport staff of VINCI Airports, all around the world, welcomes passengers with beverages and sweets.
