Carhartt Work In Progress Announces Its Latest Collaboration With Burton.

Carhartt Work In Progress is pleased to announce its latest collaboration with snowboard brand, Burton. It is the third time the brands have come together, following previous collaborations in 2008 and 2011.

The latest Burton x Carhartt WIP collection combines classic Carhartt WIP designs with Burton’s technical performance fabrics. The result is a line of innovative, durable pieces geared for mountain-driven functionality.

The collection also features a selection of accessories, including a pair of co-branded mitts and a beanie constructed from a blend of lambswool, yak wool and cashmere. Additionally, there is a waterproof backpack and duffel bag created in a robust Cordura  fabric.

The Burton x Carhartt WIP collaboration is set to launch on October 18th on carhartt-wip.com and burton.com, at select Carhartt WIP and Burton stores, and at a limited number of retailers worldwide.

To celebrate the launch, Burton and Carhartt WIP will host an event at the newly opened Burton flagship store in Munich on October 17th. Select Burton and Carhartt WIP locations worldwide will also host local events throughout October.

Comprised of ten pieces, the collection features workwear-inspired detailing and silhouettes, taken from iconic Carhartt WIP pieces translated into an outdoor-performance context. Stand-out pieces include a classic coverall created in a waterproof DRYRIDE 2-Layer Cordura  Fabric, and a silhouette inspired by the Carhartt WIP Active Jacket fabricated in a 3-Layer Twill Fabric with an 18 Denier Tricot Scrim Shell for added warmth.
