Carezza Dolomites Prepares For Winter Season

The Carezza Dolomites ski area is preparing for an exciting winter season starting on 6 December 2025, with new lift developments, refreshed hotel concepts, and an activity offering that extends well beyond the slopes.
A Family-Friendly, Climate-Conscious Ski Resort
Set against the Rosengarten and Latemar peaks, Carezza is one of South Tyrol’s most accessible and sustainable ski areas. With 40 kilometres of pistes (55% blue, 30% red, 15% black), 13 modern lift systems, and guaranteed snow thanks to 200 energy-efficient snow cannons, the resort caters to every level, from first-timers to advanced skiers. At Carezza, sustainability is paramount. Part of the “Turn to Zero” commitment since 2019, Carezza measures its carbon footprint annually and optimises energy - saving measures wherever possible. The resort has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 60-90% in its slope grooming vehicles, and has reduced piste grooming by an hour each day. The Carezza reservoir basin also provides much of the resort’s water for snowmaking, making it one of the largest and most environmentally-friendly in South Tyrol.
Alongside skiing and snowboarding, visitors can enjoy two toboggan runs, a snowpark with multiple lines, 7 km of cross-country trails, ski safaris, and a network of winter walks and snowshoe trails. Multi-day passes open up the Carezza-Val di Fassa area, while the Dolomiti Superski pass connects skiers to 1,200 km of pistes and 450 lifts across the Dolomites.
Moseralm Dolomiti Hideaway: Ski-In, Ski-Out Comfort
This winter marks a new chapter for Moseralm, relaunching as Moseralm Dolomiti Hideaway. A newly built cable car behind the hotel, replacing the Franzin drag lift, provides guests with an easier and more comfortable way onto Carezza’s slopes. With the ski-in, ski-out setting enhanced, each room has its own dedicated ski locker with boot warmer in the new ski storage room. Newly built modern-alpine suites and renovated rooms in the main house combine natural charm with contemporary comfort - plenty of wood, warm tones and a love for detail.
Guests can also join guided snowshoe and winter hikes, guided ski days, and even sunset hikes. The Alm Spa offers an adults-only sanctuary with panoramic saunas, an Enrosadira Sky Pool, and quiet zones with sweeping Dolomite views, alongside a dedicated Family Spa for younger guests. Culinary highlights include a kitchen offering regional cuisine that artfully blends South Tyrolean traditions with Mediterranean finesse.
Cyprianerhof: Winter Adventures Beyond the Slopes
Located just 50 metres from the new Cabrio cable car, Cyprianerhof now offers direct access to the Carezza ski slopes, making skiing a central highlight for guests. From the hotel door, skiers can be on the piste within minutes, combining convenience with the resort’s wide variety of runs.
Yet skiing is only part of the story. Cyprianerhof has long been known for its expertise in snowshoeing and winter hiking, with daily guided tours for all abilities. Guests can explore pristine routes without needing to cross busy pistes, while the hotel’s in-house mountain guide leads ski touring and ice climbing expeditions for those seeking more adventure.
After an active day, the Simile Spa provides the perfect retreat: guests can relax in the glass sauna while watching the glow of the Enrosadira at sunset, join infusion rituals, or float in the pool with panoramic views of the Rosengarten.
What truly sets Cyprianerhof apart is its cultural programme. Concerts and cultural evenings, hosted by resident artist Diego and sommelier-pianist Enzo, bring an intimate and unique dimension to the hotel – blending alpine adventure, wellness, and culture.
