Brian Head Resort Announces 2025-26 WINTER Opening Day

Brian Head Resort, Southern Utah’s premier ski destination, is scheduled to open for the 2025–26 winter season on Friday, Nov. 7, with over $1.4 million in upgrades to enhance the guest experience. The season is scheduled to run daily through May 10, 2026, conditions permitting.
The resort is offering lift tickets starting at $14 for the 2025–26 season, marking a 26 percent decrease in pricing over last year. The resort’s dynamic pricing model means guests who plan ahead will get the best deals of the season.
Upgraded snowmaking on Navajo Mountain will allow beginner and intermediate terrain to open earlier and stay open later. These improvements build on snowmaking and grooming investments that made Brian Head Utah's first ski resort to open for daily operations for the 2024-25 season, starting Nov. 8, 2024, and ending May 11, 2025 — a record-setting 181 skiable days.
On Giant Steps Mountain, the improved Bypass Terrain Park will offer new jump lines and freestyle features for riders of all styles. Guests will also find new rental equipment this season, including more than 400 new pairs of skis and 250 new snowboards, including a selection of HEAD Performance Snowboards. Off the slopes, a new SMS text service will deliver powder alerts, mountain conditions, lift and trail updates, event information, and more.
“Thanks to our snowmaking upgrades, guests this season can look forward to more terrain opening earlier and staying open later,” said Amber Palmer, marketing manager at Brian Head Resort. “Our expanded dynamic pricing model helps make that experience more accessible, with affordable lift tickets and free skiing for kids 12 and under.”
Lift tickets for the 2025–26 ski season at Brian Head Resort are now available, starting at $14 on select dates. Kids ages 12 and under ski and ride free all season with no purchase required and no restrictions.
