Bogus Basin Unveils 2023 Free Summer Music Lineup

Bogus Basin, the popular non-profit located 16 miles from downtown Boise, is excited to announce the launch of its 80th Anniversary summer season. Beginning June 23rd, visitors to the area can enjoy a full range of outdoor family-friendly summer activities seven days a week.

The fun-filled lineup of events includes Music on the Mountain concerts (every other Saturday, June 24th – Sept 2nd), a Community Race Series for mountain bikers and runners, Yoga on the Mountain, weekend Music on the Patio performances, Guided Nature Hikes, and more. The Glade Runner, Idaho’s only mountain coaster, will operate daily, along with the climbing wallbungee trampolinegem panningsummer tubing, and Morning Star Express chairlift for scenic rides and bike transportThe Deer Point Express Chairlift will operate on weekends only. The area will also open a new aerial adventure course on July 1st.

The 20-plus mile trail network at The Basin Gravity Park and Bogus Basin have earned the non-profit a reputation as a regionally renowned mountain bike destination, and early-season trail conditions at The Basin Gravity Park, the area’s downhill biking park, are expected to be exceptional. Several miles of new trails will be unveiled this summer, including “Around the Mountain Extension,” a fun and flowy two-mile addition to one of Idaho’s top-ranked cross-country trails. Summer season passes, providing unlimited access to The Basin Gravity Park, are now available for purchase.

Just 16 miles from Boise, Bogus Basin is the ultimate local summer destination for Treasure Valley residents, providing something for everyone. Full summer operations will continue through Sunday, Aug. 20th. The area will remain open Fridays-Sundays Aug. 25th-Sept. 4th, then Saturdays-Sundays only Sept. 9th-Oct. 1st.
