Bogner Fire+Ice Extends Its Collaboration With Volkswagen

BOGNER FIRE+ICE extends its collaboration with German automotive manufacturer Volkswagen. Almost one year after unveiling the show car, the two brands are now launching the limited special edition: the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE.

For over 35 years, BOGNER FIRE+ICE has offered a dynamic and unconventional take on BOGNER’s unique sports fashion heritage. The brand stands for high-performance outdoor and ski apparel, fused with an urban spirit—bringing technical sophistication to contemporary sportswear. The ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE pays tribute to the iconic Golf II Fire and Ice special edition from the 1990s, which was created in collaboration with Willy Bogner and quickly became a cult classic. Now, the new ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE brings together electric performance with iconic design and heritage-driven details.

Visually, the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE makes a striking impression with its Ultra Violet metallic paint, accented by powerful red highlights—a nod to the signature BOGNER FIRE+ICE brand DNA. A unique FIRE+ICE graphic graces the C-pillar, while the alloy wheels feature blue paint with bold red details to emphasize its dynamic character. The roof spoiler is adorned with the original “Fire and Ice”-logo from the 1990s. As a special highlight, the side mirrors project a “FIRE” graphic (driver’s side) and an “ICE” graphic (passenger’s side) onto the ground.

Inside, the design reflects the synergy of the two brands. The seats and interior are finished in a two-tone concept: fiery red accents for “FIRE” on the driver’s side and icy blue details for “ICE” on the passenger’s side. Inspired by the quilting of BOGNER FIRE+ICE down jackets, the sport seats feature a quilted design with a zipper subtly suggested through contrasting stitching. The seatbacks are also embroidered with the “FIRE+ICE”-logo, creating a seamless fusion of automotive design and dynamic sports fashion aesthetics.
