Attitash Opens For 2017/2018 Season Joining Wildcat Mountain

Attitash Mountain Resort is open daily for the 2017-2018 winter season as of 9 a.m. on Friday, December 15. Lifts will be open from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. during midweek, and 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on weekends.

With this recent stretch of cold weather, snowmakers and snow guns have been working around the clock for over a week. Plus, the resort received 15 inches of fresh snow in the last seven days.

Skiers and riders will be able to enjoy top-to-bottom terrain on both Attitash and Bear Peaks on 18 trails, including one terrain park at the base of Bear Peak.

“It’s great to see so much snow on the ground this early in the season. With 180+ hours of snowmaking in the past week, we are excited to be able to open with such wonderful conditions for our guests,” said John Lowell, President and General Manager of Attitash Mountain Resort.

Now that Attitash is open, guests will be able to ski at both Attitash and Wildcat on the same lift ticket. Wildcat has had a very strong start to their 60th anniversary season and received 27 inches of new snow this week. The two resorts combined will offer over 250 acres of skiing and riding this weekend and are just 20 minutes apart. Guests may purchase lift tickets in advance online at a discount.
