ARVA Releases The Reactor Vest 15
ARVA, leading developers of snow safety equipment for over 35 years, announces the launch of the Reactor Vest, available now. The 15L Reactor Airbag Vest was designed with input from Ski Patrollers, Snowmobilers, and Snowboarders to cover optimal storage needs and safely moving through the mountains in a variety of backcountry terrain.
The 15L vest has ample storage because of the small and ideally located airbag system, and the front pockets are perfect for quick access to rescue or any essential tools or gear. The storage and balance of the system allow a convenience and level of safety never seen on the market before. Arva Reactor Backpacks already deliver unparalleled comfort, balance, and attention to detail and the Vest takes this to a new level. “Once you use an Arva Airbag system you realize so many designs out there are top-heavy or side-heavy and constantly throw you off balance,” says Jeremy Jolley, US Sales Manager. “We designed the vest over a 2-year period working with Snowbird Ski Patrol in Utah, it has been very well received by a wide range of snow enthusiasts beyond ski patrols. It comes in two size options and the 3D fit system wraps the shoulders like a custom foot bed allowing the user to move uninhibited and feel like they’re carrying next to nothing.”
Designed with a wide range of users in mind, the vest includes 4 easy-access high volume pocket as well as 2 large thin pockets, one on each side of the zipper, making it easy to grab any stowed gear or other essentials. A proprietary locking handle with storage ensures that the airbag will not unintentionally deploy when maneuvering in avalanche terrain. Adjustable straps allow for ski, snowboard or ice ax carry, and for even greater modularity, the strap loops on the shoulders meet MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) standards for carrying a radio or a wide variety of third-party accessories that comply with this standard.
