The award of the Badge of Honor is decided by the Swedish Ski Association's board and is awarded to active members who have achieved a certain level of points. The award is made of gold (gilded silver) with blue enamel and has been worn by several of the greatest figures in Swedish winter sports throughout history.

"It's almost hard to find words for how great it feels. I'm incredibly proud of myself, to have succeeded so well in relatively few seasons. The award itself gives me the drive to continue upwards, and hopefully also inspire others," says Agnes Abrahamsson .
"'''It feels incredibly honorable to be inscribed in Swedish skiing history. I have dedicated my entire life to the sport, so receiving this award means a lot and motivates me even more for the future. It is another step towards the goal of having my name linked to skiing," says Filip Gravenfors
The Swedish Ski Association's Badge of Honor was established to preserve the memory of Sweden's best skiers and jumpers and highlight their achievements for the future.
To be awarded the award, the athlete must have achieved a certain level of points, based on results in international competitions.
"Through the Badge of Honor, we want to recognize our most outstanding active people and show appreciation for their contributions to Swedish skiing and snowboarding," says Pernilla Bonde, Secretary General of the Swedish Ski Association.
