Action Outdoors Launches Family Ski Holidays For Winter 2023-24

Action Outdoors, the UK arm of the not for profit UCPA organisation, has launched its family winter skiing holidays for next winter. They are all located in centres that are dedicated for families only during those weeks, with in-house ski or snowboard instruction available across all dates.

Prices start at £663 per person (adult) including 7 nights full-board accommodation, lift passes, instruction and guiding and ski equipment hire.

UCPA centres are located in some of the best known resorts in the French Alps and family holidays are all during the peak week dates across the winter, when prices with most accommodation providers are often at the very highest. The UCPA does not price these weeks higher than others, making them some of the best value family skiing holidays available.

The resort of Valloire has been added for the 2024 winter season. Located in the Savoie region, the resort is popular with families and is linked to the Valmeinier ski area.

Managing Director of Action Outdoors, David Robertson, said: “Our family holidays keep growing in popularity and we have added more dates and more weeks for 2024. Considering what’s available for the money, it’s hard to beat cost wise – do the sums, I don’t think you’d find a family ski holiday in the French Alps over peak dates for less money. We get a lot of returning customers and we give them priority booking, but spaces go quickly, especially over New Year and February half-term. We’re just really pleased that we have been able to keep prices from rising too much over the past year too”.
