Action Outdoors Launch New UCPA Winter Ski And Snowboard Holidays For 19-20 Season

Action Outdoors has launched its new 2019-20 winter sports program, with holidays now listed online and available to book from August 5.

There’s a special ‘early bird’ discount of 5% on all holidays* on any bookings between August 5 to September 10, 2019.

The not for profit UCPA centres, located in some of the best French ski resorts in the Alps, offer hundreds of different trips for all levels of skiers and snowboarders on an all-inclusive basis, with full-board accommodation and equipment hire, lift passes and instruction available on the majority of dates.

There are several new launches for the 2019-20 winter season too, including: Ski or Snowboard ‘Basics’ (combine free time skiing with both instruction and guided sessions, intermediates and upwards only); Ski Off-Piste Grands Montets (a dedicated week of exploring the vast off-piste terrain above Argentiere); Short Break 4 day Vallee Blanche (get to experience the famous Vallee Blanche in Chamonix without taking a whole week out).

The first holidays of the winter start on November 28, 2019, with a short break trip to Val Thorens or Les Deux Alpes. Full week holidays commence on November 30 to UCPA Val d’Isère that cater for all levels including instruction or non-instructed options.

The final departure date is April 30, 2020 with a short break trip to Val Thorens. Other resorts that are featured during the season include: Chamonix, Flaine, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Serre Chevalier, Tignes and Les Contamines.

As well as Alpine skiing and snowboard instruction, UCPA are also offering a huge variety of specialist courses for the 2019-20 winter targeted at all ability levels that include, ski touring, freestyle skiing camps, cross country skiing, speed riding, competition skiing and splitboarding.

UCPA winter ski and snowboard holidays go on sale on August 5.

UCPA was set up over 50 years ago to encourage young people to take part in outdoors sports. It has since developed into a not for profit organisation that provides sport holidays for a wide range of ages with a huge range of accommodation options. Each year over 240,000 people enjoy a sport holiday with UCPA, enjoying accessibility to outdoor sports regardless of social background, income or culture. UCPA also offers trips and tours to some of the best destinations for outdoor sports in 75 countries including Vietnam, Portugal and Brazil.

A total of 80 different sports activities are offered in UCPA centres all year round, including, skiing, surfing, mountaineering, diving, sailing and horse riding. During winter, UCPA centres operate in some of the top resorts in the Alps such as Val Thorens, Tignes, Val d’Isère and Chamonix. The holidays are always All Inclusive – lift passes, ski hire, all meals and guiding is included in the price. UCPA is the largest ski school in France and have their own instructor development program which allows young people to develop their career in sport instruction, whilst providing a strong base of instructors and guides to work within each centre for the whole season.
