David Ulbrich Named Mountain Operations Director For Gunstock Mountain Resort

Following a multi-year, national search, Gunstock Mountain Resort announced that David Ulbrich has been selected for the position of Mountain Operations Director. Ulbrich will join the resort’s leadership team in this new position. Gunstock President and GM, Robert Drake notes, “David brings more than 20 years of mountain operations experience to Gunstock’s leadership team. He has strong roots here in New England’s ski industry and best of all, a true passion for the sport. I am thrilled to welcome David to the Gunstock team!”

Ulbrich was the long-time Director of Mountain Operations for Sugarbush Resort (VT) and most recently served as the Operations and Assistant Venue Manager for Whiteface Mountain Ski Area (NY). “I am excited to join the team at Gunstock and share my passion for skiing to Gunstock’s storied slopes. This move back to New England has been a few years in the making and represents a wonderful opportunity both professionally and personally for my family. I especially look forward to working with, and learning from, the dedicated staff and community here and continuing to build on Gunstock’s proud legacy.”
