AEP Modernises Wagrain Snowmaking System

WOW, what a successful project "Snowmaking system Wagrain – Griessenkareck area – adaptations to the state of the art"!

Thanks to extensive renovations and optimizations, the snowmaking system in the Griessenkareck area is now more powerful and efficient.

The measures included:

- Replacement of transport and field lines over a length of approximately 2.2 km
- Internal modifications of the pumping stations
- Construction of a new pumping station with a maximum water capacity of 202.5 l/s

The modernization of pumping stations and the implementation of new technical solutions have significantly improved snow reliability and the sustainable use of water resources.

The AEP team is proud to have accompanied the project from planning to commissioning and thanks Snow Space Salzburg Bergbahnen AG for their cooperation.
