Bartholet Maschinenbau: New Project In The Valais Alps

Construction work has begun on the new 6-seater Lac des Vaux chairlift in the 4 Vallées ski area. It will replace the existing 2-seater lift and offer noticeable improvements in comfort, capacity, and operating efficiency.

The new lift is located in a scenic and snow-sure region. The high altitude allows for a long ski season. The mountain station is located on a narrow ridge, which makes construction work particularly challenging due to the limited space and exposed location. The chairs were specially designed for windy conditions, with a recess in the backrest to reduce the surface area exposed to wind.
