Snowkidz Reaches 800 Events

SnowKidz has seen an increase in the number of events and actions each year for the past six years. For the 2018/2019 season the programme will once again break its previous record and top the 800 mark.

From 1st June 2018 to 30th May 2019, SnowKidz will have 810 events and actions. The number is a positive sign for the snow sports industry, since the events to bring children to the snow have yielded increased numbers of visitors to destinations which benefit a wide variety of stakeholders in the area. Moreover, SnowKidz actions are not resource intensive to execute and therefore do not place pressure on existing resources.

FIS President Gian Franco Kasper commented “It’s a great achievement by the programme and I commend all the Organisers on their hard work.”

SnowKidz will release its end of season report in June 2019. For more information on SnowKidz and the event visit www.snowkidz.com
