March 1-2, 2018 – Family Week Events at Bolton Valley Resort

March 3, 7, 10, & 14, 2018 – Wine Tasting Series at Trapp Family Lodge 
Join Trapp Family Lodge all month long as they continue their wine tasting series into the month of March. Try a wide range of wines from South African Wines on March 3rd to Argentine Wines on March 7th to Five Merlots from Five Countries on March 10th to finally, Rhone Valley Wines on March 14th.

March 3, 2018 – Skimo East Challenge at Jay Peak Resort
Volunteer for these events or test your own limits in this wild endurance winter challenge where participants climb up and ski down some of Vermont’s favorite local mountains – for fun, for speed, for glory! The courses have many challenges including a steep and difficult boot-pack, many transitions and off-piste descents.

March 3, 2018 – Light The Night Rail Jam at Okemo Mountain Resort
Okemo is lighting up the snow on Bull Run for skiers and riders of all ages to show off their best moves. A prize of $5,000 in cash and other swag is up for grabs. A new rail garden, constructed specifically for this event will be an optimal venue for participants and spectators alike.

March 3, 2018- Cliff House Summit Dinner at Stowe Mountain Resort
Join in on this unique dining experience that not only offers gorgeous views as you dine, but also serves up some of Vermont’s most delectable meals. This dinner’s theme is the “Vermont Beer Dinner”. The series continues every Saturday throughout the month of March.

March 4, 2018 – High Fives Fat Ski-A-Thon at Sugarbush Resort
Open to skiers and snowboarders; gather your friends, family, co-workers, and join us for the 7th Annual FAT Ski-A-Thon, presented by Vermont North Ski Shop, GoPro, Sugarbush Resort and the High Fives Foundation.

March 4, 2018 – Jack Jump World Championships at Mount Snow Resort
The Jack Jump Championships return to Mount Snow again this March! A combination of homemade Jack Jump design, ingenuity, and user skill will factor into determining who can make it down the dual paneled slalom, Charlie's Chase course with the best combined time. After theracejoin everyone for an after party complete with awards and a bib raffle for all competitors.

March 5, 2018 – Ski and Ride Kingdom Kids Day at Burke Mountain 
Burke Mountain and Kingdom Kids once again come together for the annual Kingdom Kids Day - a fun-filled day for Vermont’s local youth on the slopes with $10 lift tickets. There will be skiing/snowboarding and a visit with Burkie Bear. Designed for children in grades K through 8 who reside in the Northeast Kingdom, counties of Essex, Orleans and Caledonia.

March 9, 2018 – The Vermont Open 2018 at Stratton Mountain Resort
A celebration of the beginning of snowboarding and its progression, the 6th Annual Vermont Open is truly open. This event invites snowboarders of all ages to come together to ride, party, enjoy the snow and compete for a prize purse of over $20,000.

March 9, 2018 – Carinthia Freeski Open at Mount Snow Resort
The annual AFP Silver certified event is back to its roots at Mount Snow as a freeskiing slopestyle competition. A cash prize of $7,000 is on the line for competitors with a maximum of 100 competitors that can register for this event.

March 10, 2018 – Castlerock Extreme at Sugarbush Resort
Expert skiers and riders are invited to charge the cliffs and drops of Sugarbush’s toughest terrain in the 21st Annual Castlerock Extreme.

March 10, 2018 – Annual Spring Demo Day at Stratton Mountain Resort
Join Stratton for First Run Ski Shop's Annual Spring Demo Day to test 2018/2019 model skis from Rossignol, Head, Salomon, K2, Dynastar and Armada skis.

March 11, 2018- Ski for MS at Pico Mountain 
Ski for MS is a one-day community skiing fundraiser benefiting people with multiple sclerosis. This fundraiser brings people together at Pico and many other ski areas across the country to help people with MS and their families thrive. Special Guest and Olympic Skiing Champion Donna Weinbrecht will be there for the festivities.

March 11, 2018 – Vertical Challenge at Bromley Mountain 
Join Bromley Mountain for this free, fun race event for all ages and abilities - come out and watch or get in on the action yourself; this is the last chance to qualify for the national championships!
