Toggenburg Mountain Makes Major Improvements For The 18/19 Season

Toggenburg Mountain has been working throughout the summer and fall in preparation for an improved 18/19 season.

This year, owners of Toggenburg Mountain, John Meier and Marc Stemerman, have named their executive team at Greek Peak Mountain Resort to oversee Toggenburg. The team has advanced long-time Toggenburg Hill Manager, Eric Waite, as Operations Manager.

"We are excited to have our core team return this season," states Eric Waite, Operations Manager. Waite goes on to mention, "Snowsports Director Jim Morris has been with Toggenburg for over 45 years and much of the staff at the Foggy Goggle have been with us for over 20 years."

Below are some of the improvements that Toggenburg customers will experience this year:

• Purchased a used Piston Bully Edge Park Groomer
• SMI Super Pole Cat Fan Gun, located at the base
• New Guns – NYSERDA Matching Funds Grant: Purchasing 11 new, high efficient HKD SV 14 tower snowmaking guns. The guns will be placed on the center of Main trail.
• Improved Mountain Lighting: new electric service up the north side and center of Main trail and Doc's Run. Improved lighting on Tog's race trail, Kneeknocker.
• Improvements approx $136,000.

Toggenburg has expanded their benefits, or perks, to their loyal season pass holders to include $15 off Gore, Whiteface, and Belleayre Mountains, 40% off lift tickets at Jackson Hole, along with multiple discounts at Greek Peak Mountain Resort.
