The Little Nell Celebrates 30 Years In Aspen, Colorado
The Little Nell, Aspen’s only Five-Star, Five-Diamond hotel, first opened its doors on Thanksgiving Day of 1989. Since its debut, the hotel has opened more champagne than is imaginable, has been renovated multiple times and has celebrated thousands of special occasions. As pearl is the traditional gift given for a 30th anniversary, join the hotel’s Pearl Anniversary celebration, with events and promotions throughout the ski season.
EVENTS
Dinner Through The Decades (29 November)
Hosted on Friday 29 November, element 47 will offer a five-course, prix-fixe menu for $150++ with wine pairings or $89++ for dinner only. Dinner will be hosted by Executive Chef Matt Zubrod and George Mahaffey, formerly the executive chef at The Little Nell when the restaurant was named Montagna. Little Nell Wine Director Chris Dunaway and a guest sommelier will pair wines for the evening.
Party Like It’s 1989 (14 December)
On Saturday 14 December, a vintage ski party will give a nod to the year The Little Nell opened, with a host of activities and complimentary appetisers. Chair 9 will feature a DJ, the courtyard will offer fireside seating areas, cocoa cocktails and an outdoor screening of iconic ski flicks, and an ‘80s cover band will play hits Downstairs at The Nell where the costume contest will take place.
Ring in 2020 at The Dom Pérignon Party (31 December)
Complete with the Omnia experience featuring dueling DJs from Hakkasan, the top nightclub on the Las Vegas strip, this iconic party returns to The Little Nell on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy bottomless Dom Pérignon and top-shelf liquor, indulge in savory bites and sip cocktails by the Pearl Ice Bar. Tickets go on sale at Friday 4 October at 10am MST, with a 48-hour flash sale on general admission.
Clicquot Cats on New Year’s Eve (31 December)
Hosted on Aspen Mountain for both the 8pm and midnight fireworks displays, this all-inclusive fireworks experience combines Five-Star service and large format champagne for up to 12 guests from $10,000++ per snowcat.
