TFA 2021- New Date In September For Tourism Forum

The current infection situation at home and abroad does not allow the 30th anniversary TFA to be held in March. As the organizer, grischconsulta has already agreed a postponement date in September 2021 with the partners in Andermatt.
The TFA Alpenregionen tourism forum is getting ready to welcome the mountain railway and alpine tourism industry to the Andermatt holiday region from 20 to 22 September.
Turbulent Covid 19 times and risky forecasts put society and our industry under massive pressure. It is all the more important to have your nose in the wind and your ear very close to the front. The participants celebrate the 30th anniversary very deep and high up in the Swiss Alps; in original Switzerland, in the source region of the major European rivers Rhone, Rhine and Reuss - in Andermatt. In the tried and tested format of theory and practice - and in compliance with strict protective measures - the decision-makers of the industry meet and follow the statements of well-known and successful speakers and experts.
The former military base Andermatt - but also a health resort - is a place for nature lovers who are looking for a fantastic mountain world in both winter and summer. With the newly created SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun, the largest ski area in Central Switzerland, the region offers an impressive winter sports area and is a well-known center for freeriders. With Andermatt Swiss Alps AG, a strong tourist development has emerged. Investments of well over a billion Swiss francs are flowing into Andermatt on an area of one and a half square kilometers in an international tourist resort with several hotels, holiday homes and holiday apartments, the Andermatt-Sedrun ski area, an 18-hole golf course, shops and a sports and leisure center Ice rink and indoor swimming pool.
NEW: TFA MeetingPoint March 30, 2021 - Alpine-wide exchange at the end of the winter season
Because a personal meeting with industry colleagues is not yet possible in March, the TFA team is presenting a new, two-hour short event in ONLINE format across national borders and independent of associations. With a brief analysis of important developments, findings and key figures as well as original voices from the markets of Switzerland, Austria, Germany and South Tyrol, it is important to us at TFA to connect the industry at least online at the end of the winter season and to serve it with knowledge from the think tank. Participation is free.

About the TFA TourismusForum Alpenregionen
In cooperation with the Graubündner Kantonalbank and regional business associations, Dr. Ing.Roland Zegg, owner of grischconsulta AG, held a specialist conference in 1988 with current, descriptive topics from theory and practice for the mountain railway and tourism industry. This was launched as a one-day event under the name "Graubünden Tourism Forum".
The TFA opened itself to the international public as early as 1991, because it quickly became apparent that the topics of the forum were preoccupying all those involved in alpine tourism - even beyond the borders. With the venue in Ischgl, the TFA took its participants to neighboring Austria for the first time in 2006. Since then, the TFA has been held alternately in international, innovative top destinations throughout the German-speaking Alpine arc.
As the organizer, the team at grischconsulta has been creating, planning and realizing the renowned industry event on its own since the beginning. The team has ears and eyes directly on the market, provides impulses and provides ideas for planning, concepts and projects in the mountain railway and alpine tourism industry. The forum program reflects every year everything that moves the industry and the makers in management positions - presented close to practice, supplemented by theory, competent, up-to-date, lively and human-friendly.
In 2021 the TFA TourismusForum Alpenregionen will celebrate its 30th edition in Andermatt, Canton Uri (Switzerland). No other specialist forum can look back on such a long, successful history in the tourism industry
