His assignment will be to develop the operations within alpine and ski cross – from grassroots operations to national team level.
"This assignment feels really inspiring, challenging and full of opportunities. With my great interest and my background in alpine skiing, I am looking forward to stepping into this leadership role and contributing both experience and drive to support and develop the teams in ski cross and alpine skiing. I also look forward to developing relationships and finding new opportunities with collaborating partners and organizations. I have many years of experience working under pressure in demanding conditions and am used to setting clear goals, for both operations and people. I know that in order to be able to perform at the highest level, regardless of whether it is about operations within the Armed Forces, industry or in elite sports, success and high results are built on an underlying strong and close-knit team. It is together that we reach the top and I am really looking forward to being part of creating the best possible conditions for Swedish success in alpine skiing and ski cross," says Stefan Dahlsten.
Through Stefan's experience in leadership and organizational development, the Swedish Ski Association will gain a sports manager who has the ability to create unity, trust and drive in the important work that lies ahead for the association.
