Snowboard Cross, Avalanche Training & Festivities For Les 2 alpes

Les 2 Alpes will launch the Ski an Snowboard Cross World Cup season! SATA, the Les 2 Alpes ski lift operator, in collaboration with the Fédération Française de Ski (FFS), created a permanent Crosspark in Les 2 Alpes in April 2022. It allows international athletes to train in ski and snowboard cross. In February 2022, Les 2 Alpes applied to host the world cups for four years. The resort, SATA, the Ski Club and the mayor worked with representatives from FIS and FFS to win this project. On 26 May, it was announced that Les 2 Alpes will host the Ski and Snowboard World Cup.

• 2 - 5 NOVEMBER SKI CROSS WORLD CUP: TESTS, TRAINING, QUALIFICATION AND FINALE.

Other events

• 24 October to 25 November avalanche blaster training. The National Association for the Study of Snow and Avalanches (A.N.E.N.A) is running for the 4th time avalanche blaster training sessions in Les 2 Alpes. Around one hundred avalanche blasters will be trained in Les 2 Alpes!
• 5 to 16 December 17th AVALANCHE DOG HANDLER TRAINING. For the 17th consecutive year, the National Association for the Study of Snow and Avalanches (A.N.E.N.A) invites mountain professionals to join them on the summits of Les 2 Alpes. Over the course of 2 weeks, twenty pairs (handler + dog) will come to Les 2 Alpes to prepare for the government-recognised National Avalanche Dog Handling certificate.
• 10 to 16 December.  RISE FESTIVAL will be setting up for a week of live music in Les 2 Alpes. Run by British organisers (Ibiza Rocks, Wasteland Ski and Rough Hill), this festival combines a week of snowsports and mountain activities with 100% «British» concerts throughout the resort (Les 2 Alpes main square, Palais des sports, slopeside bars, resort bars ...).
• 21 to 31 December. END OF THE YEAR FESTIVITIES. Christmas decorations, fireworks, tastings, etc
• 21 January. LES 2 ALPES NIGHT SNOW TRAIL. Trail running event in the snow, at night! This is a very popular event! (over 500 participants in 2020). Participants experience an unusual, extraordinary evening, racing above the resort of Les 2 Alpes at night, and taking in stunning views! Instead of running down snow- covered slopes, climb them by the light of the moon..5, 10, 15 or 20 km – take your pick!
