Smartwool Announces New European Sales Agency

Smartwool, a global active lifestyle Merino apparel company is excited to announce its new European sales agency, Elements, based in Benelux. The partnership is effective immediately. The new agency will help establish the Brand’s leadership position within the Benelux outdoor industry, while also helping the brand build a community of engaged consumers.

“Elements has the talent and mindset to elevate Smartwool throughout Benelux,” stated Genevieve Peterson, Smartwool EMEA Managing Director. “We are fortunate and excited to work with an agency that values sustainable practices and demonstrates care for their employees and community through their actions. We look forward to our collaboration with Elements to build long-lasting partnerships with consumers and retailers.”

“There is so much similarity between the core values of Smartwool and Elements. Love for the outdoors, seeking the highest sustainable standard and building inspiring partnerships,” said Dominic Declerq, co-owner of Elements. “Smartwool fits perfectly in our portfolio of premium brands. We are thrilled to start partnering with this inspirational brand.”

With a strong reputation in the industry, the agency is well-respected for its team professionalism, as well as their market knowledge and in-depth understanding of the target consumer. Additionally, the Elements agency shares many of the Smartwool core values: openness, advocacy, action, inclusivity, and fun-loving. Most impressively, the company is built on sustainability. The team does not use any plastic in the office or any single-use plates or cups. In an effort to further conserve energy, team members are encouraged to use public and/or bike transportation to/from work and are allowed to work from home as much as necessary. When conducting sales calls, the agency provides bicycles to agents who visit accounts in urban locations.

“The team at Elements doesn’t just represent brands,” explained Peterson. “They are experts at building brands and community around sustainability and fun outside.”
