Skidata Promotes Access To Slopes Directly Via Your Smartphone

With just a few clicks, the cell phone turns into a ski ticket, supported by Bluetooth technology that ensures long-lasting battery performance.

Since KitzSki introduced the smartphone ticket last ski season, other ski areas such as the Gerlitzen, Turracher Höhe and Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis mountain railways have now followed this trend. Ischgl, Schmittenhöhe Bergbahnen, Kitzsteinhorn and the Hinterglemmer Bergbahnen are also already at the start in Austria. In Germany there is the mobile phone ski ticket e.g. B. in Skiparadies Grasgehren and at the Schwärzenlifte Eschach.

Purchasing a digital ski ticket is as straightforward as buying a plane or event ticket:

1. Buy the ticket via the mountain railways online shop.
2. And then save the ski ticket in the relevant app, e.g. B. in the mountain railway app (KitzSki has its own app) or in the general SKIDATA app "key2ski" (available in the app store.)

When you approach the entrance, your smartphone automatically communicates with the access reader via Bluetooth - no need to take your cell phone out of your jacket.

Thanks to the “Bluetooth Low Energy Technology” you can rely on minimal battery consumption.
