Skiareatest Presentation Of Awards And Seal Of Quality Held At Rosi's Sonnbergstuben In Kitzbühel.

Skiareatest founder and president Klaus Hönigsberger invited guests to the anniversary event for the presentation of the Skiareatest Awards and Seal of Quality at Rosi's Sonnbergstuben in Kitzbühel. 450 participants from the Alpine region, more than ever before, accepted the invitation and represented an absolute highlight in the 30-year success story of the International Skiareatest.
The enthusiastic cable car and tourism family and the numerous guests of honor in attendance provided a more than worthy setting for the presentation of the awards to the beaming winners of the past winter and summer seasons.
Klaus Hönigsberger considered it a special honor to welcome the Mayor of Kitzbühel, Dr. Klaus Winkler, who also delivered the welcoming address, welcomed
- Franz Hörl, chairman of the Austrian Cable Car Association;
- Olympic and World Champion Fritz Strobl, who was named Honorary President of the International Ski Area Test;
- world champion Nici Schmidhofer,
- Olympic snowboard champion Nevin Galmarini,
- snowboard world champion Andreas Promegger, the trade group manager Mag.
- Oliver Käfer, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
- Josef Bucher, mayor of Uderns; and Franz Schweiger, deputy mayor of Rattenberg.
- Father Stefan from the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, where Klaus Hönigsberger completed his schooling, bestowed his blessing for accident-free, responsible work by all cable car operators and for a satisfactory coming season.
Moderator Thomas Mussger led the audience charmingly and professionally through the extremely entertaining program, which began with a festive reception by the Kitzbühel City Band. The team from Rosi's Sonnbergstuben was pampered with attentive service and culinary delicacies by Fridel Schipflinger, who was named "Chef of the Year 2025," and was thoroughly entertained by the melodious accompaniment by "Zillertaler Harmonie" and the musical fireworks by "Die Jungen Zillertaler."
With a lively get-together featuring "heated expert discussions" and a lively exchange of funny anecdotes, the 30th anniversary event came to a memorable close among the beaming guests, one that everyone will fondly remember for a long time to come.
