Region Of Trentino Ready To Embrace The New Ski Season

The beginning of the new ski season in Trentino

The world’s stunning Italian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will once again welcome skiing fans from 26 November 2022, gradually leading to a complete opening of the rest of the resorts by 11 December 2022. Thanks to major investments into resort facilities and snowmaking technology, skiers can expect resorts covered in great quality snow, providing excellent conditions for skiing, snowshoeing and more. New technologies have led to faster, more comfortable, and more efficient skiing lift experiences, making it easier to access all the great slopes on offer across the resorts.

Money-saving ski passes available at Madonna di Campiglio and Pontedilegno-Tonale

  • Madonna di Campiglio is offering a brand-new pass, ‘The Starpass’, which allows skiers to pay per amount they ski. Those who ski more will be able to pay less - once skiers have reached the first threshold of use, they will automatically receive a discount on other subsequent passes.
  • The Pontedilegno-Tonale resort will be offering fantastic discounts of up to 25% with the new Smart Skipass. For every skiing day this winter, there will be a limited amount of Smart Skipasses that can be purchased online at a lower price. The discount is greater if bought in advance.

New upgrades at the ski resorts

  • This year San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle resort will welcome the opening of a new lift service on Alpe Tognola, the four-seater Cima Tognola, which replaces the old two-seater. The lift will connect the Tognola-Ces route and the ‘Cima’ slope, taking only six minutes to ascend to Tognola. Once at the top, skiers can enjoy the delightful 5km long descent down the Fantasia 2000 track with spectacular vistas.
  • Paganella is welcoming the new ski season with two exciting updates to the resort. The expansion of the resort’s slope will return skiers back to Andalo more safely and ensure a more comfortable journey, whilst the Gaggia lift has also been widened to a 40m width. In addition, the Snowpark Dosson has added a new jump ramp available for more experienced skiers, as well as a new course for beginners and younger skiers including fun and thrilling bumps, twists and turns.

Easy resorts access with FlySki Shuttle

From 10 December 2022 until 26 March 2023, the main ski resorts in Trentino will have a direct transfer shuttle from the airports in Verona, Bergamo, Milan-Linate, Milan-Malpensa, Venice, Treviso, and Bolzano as well as the railway stations in Venice-Mestre, Central Milan and Trento. The FlySki Shuttle service will operate from Val di Fassa, Val di Fiemme, San Martino di Castrozza-Passo Rolle-Primiero, Val di Sole-Passo del Tonale, Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo-Folgarida resorts.
