Rab Wins Two ISPO Awards For Spring/Summer 2026 Equipment Collection

British outdoor brand Rab (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.) have won two ISPO Awards for their Spring/Summer 2026 equipment collection. Rab have been recognised for both the Mythic -6 sleeping bag and the Syclon XP 40 pack, which feature industry-leading technologies and designs developed for ultralight mountain use. The ISPO Award winners represent the finest in innovation and design within the sports industry, showcasing remarkable products.

Mythic -6: Ultralight performance with patented baffle technology

The Mythic -6 sleeping bag uses Rab’s new patented L.O.F.T 3D (Lightweight Offset Funnel Technology 3D) technology to achieve a weight of just 700g whilst providing exceptional warmth and performance. L.O.F.T 3D™ baffle construction features offset walls twisted into a helix shape, creating funnel points that prevent down migration and maintain consistent warmth distribution.

The ultralight sleeping bag combines 900 fill-power Grangers Down Defend® hydrophobic goose down with Rab’s heat-reflective TILT technology and 10D Pertex® Quantum fabric. Design features include trapezoidal baffles and strategic placement of seam lines, zips, and hood cinches designed with side sleepers in mind. The result is exceptional packability that doesn’t compromise on warmth, making it ideal for weight-conscious mountaineers and fast-packing enthusiasts.

The Mythic -6 is also available as Mythic 0 and Mythic -12 variants.

Syclon XP 40: Waterproof protection meets ventilation

The Syclon XP 40 pack features Rab’s new AEROFIT back system and combines waterproof protection with ventilation. The carry system’s standout feature is its body-contouring mesh system that runs seamlessly from the back panel through to the hipbelt, providing exceptional weight distribution and comfort throughout extended use.

With IPX4 waterproof rating, fully taped seams, and durable Spectra fabrics, the Syclon XP 40 offers comprehensive protection without sacrificing breathability. At under 1kg, it represents one of the only fully waterproof, ventilated packs in this weight category on the market – making it ideal for fast-paced mountain missions, hut-to-hut adventures, and multi-day treks.

The Syclon range includes additional variants: Syclon XP 28ND, Syclon XP 30, and Syclon XP 38ND. The ND (narrow dimensions) packs are built with different proportions to the regular packs, making them ideally suited to anyone with a smaller frame.

The award-winning Syclon XP 40 and Mythic -6 will be available to consumers in Spring/Summer 2026. More details on Rab’s new Spring/Summer 2026 collection can be found HERE.
