New Holiday Park Opens Close To Nevis Range

If you’re dreaming of an activity-packed weekend away, then Highland Holidays’ Ben Nevis Holiday Park in Fort William, is the perfect destination for a 2021 getaway. After all, where could be better to take in the fresh air, than the outdoor capital of Great Britain?

With spectacular views of Ben Nevis, the holiday park provides the perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts, skiers, snow sport lovers, active families and those just looking for a Highland hideaway to enjoy some much-needed peace and tranquillity.

So, whether you’re into skiing or stargazing, hillwalking or hot-tubbing, Highland Holidays’ brand-new collection of luxurious lodges and pods are the ideal place to begin an unforgettable adventure.

Boasting a mix of superior hot tub lodges, cosy self-catering lodges, Scandi-style glamping pods, apartments with a view and versatile caravans, there’s a wide variety of stylish accommodation for guests of all budgets. Ben Nevis Holiday Park is also the only spot in Fort William to offer the option of accommodation with hot tubs, for guests looking for that extra touch of luxury, or to wind down after a long day in on the slopes.

The site boasts unrivalled access to an array of outdoor activities, including skiing, snow sports and walking routes, as well as breathtaking Ben Nevis itself. The Nevis Range is close by, offering an extensive network of graded runs for ski enthusiasts, as well as plenty of other snow sport options, such as sledging and snow biking, plus there’s the famous Mountain Gondola, for those looking to take in the stunning views.

Ben Nevis Holiday Park also perfectly situated for exploring the Highlands more widely, with easy access to the stunning beaches at Mallaig and Arisaig – and for Harry Potter fans, the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct (the chosen route of the Hogwarts Express!) is just 15 miles away, the ideal spot from which to do some magical trainspotting.

And after a long day on the slopes, if you simply fancy getting away from it all, unwinding in the gloaming, soaking in a hot tub under the stars, or even cosying up beside a roaring fire in the local pub – you can do that too, as the town of Fort William is just 10 minutes away, offering a selection of spots to enjoy that famous warm Scottish hospitality.

Owners Andrew and Emily Campbell launched Highland Holidays in March 2020, using the lockdown period to develop the site, introducing the brand-new lodges and pods, before welcoming their first guests in July. The couple’s plans for 2021 include the addition of further lodges and pods, as well as the introduction of an onsite bistro-style café and shop.

Emily Campbell said: “It’s been a long-held dream of ours to live and work in such a beautiful area, which we are very proud to call home. We have developed the site to add luxury accommodation options, with unrivalled views of Ben Nevis, and a huge range of activities on our doorstep for everyone to enjoy. We are so excited to welcome guests to the holiday park, and for them to experience the breathtaking beauty of Ben Nevis and the warm local hospitality for themselves.”

Highland Holidays currently has limited availability at Ben Nevis Holiday Park for remaining 2020 dates, and the diary is open for 2021 bookings – please check your local restrictions for advice around travelling. Highland Holidays is Visit Scotland ‘Good to Go’ certified, so visitors and guests can be confident in the safety of their stay.
