The road to the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals Cortina 2020 will start in Sölden (AUT) on the 26th October, where the best athletes in the world will begin their campaigns for the crystal globes. Their path will take them to Cortina d’Ampezzo (ITA) for the Audi FIS World Cup Finals, which will take place from 18th to 22nd March 2020.

After creating the Organising Committee’s website, Fondazione Cortina 2021 and IQUII, Digital Consulting Company part of Group Be, have launched the official app dedicated to the Finals in Cortina 2020. This marks another step aimed at improving the user experience and the storytelling of the event.

The app, integrated on a platform based on the framework SportXP, includes exclusive content and will keep fans updated by allowing them to:

  • win prizes and exclusive experiences;
  • get in touch with the Cortina 2021 Ambassadors, Sofia Goggia and Kristian Ghedina;
  • follow the updates on social media thanks to the Social Wall;
  • read and browse news, photos and media content from every race;
  • consult the calendar and the results;

Closer to the Finals, the app will be enriched with gaming to enhance fan engagement, implementing new features dedicated to the live experience of the event.

“The Fondazione Cortina 2021 team believes in technological and digital development. Innovation is one our drivers allowing us to look into the future, concretely and effectively.” - said Valerio Giacobbi, CEO at Fondazione Cortina 2021. “The birth of this app is another step on the path to the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2021 and for the Audi FIS World Cup Finals, we will test the possibilities that this tool offers.”
