Mammut Launches Snow Safety Products For Winter 2017/18

Freeriding and ski-touring open up unique sporting experiences in nature, away from crowded pistes and churned-up snow. To fully enjoy the adventure in open terrain, the right avalanche equipment and the ability to use it correctly are vital. The Swiss mountain sports specialist Mammut therefore offers not only the complete spectrum of essential products for ambitious tourers and freeriders, it also runs an extensive range of training and touring courses in the brand’s own mountain school.

Mammut Flip Removable Airbag 3.0

The Flip Removable Airbag 3.0 is small in weight but packs a powerful punch in terms of features. Weighing in at under two kilos, the lightweight Flip offers everything you would expect from a professional airbag backpack: the extremely light Airbag System 3.0, a special front pocket for avalanche safety equipment and a separate radio pocket. Particularly useful: the main compartment can be accessed using a convenient zipper at the back as well from the top. The Flip also has carrying systems for skis, a snowboard and splitboard, a daisy chain for additional equipment, carriers for poles or an ice pick and compression straps for optimal comfort. The backpack is also compatible with a hydration system. All of which makes the Flip perfectly equipped for demanding ski and snowboard tours.

Barryvox S

The new Barryvox S perpetuates the absolute reliability of previous Mammut avalanche transceivers. It also introduces some significant improvements in terms of usability and performance, to make searching for buried subjects even faster and safer.

Alugator Light

Avalanche equipment must fulfill two main requirements. It must be as light and compact as possible, and it must function with 100% reliability in the event of an emergency. The mountain sports equipment manufacturer Mammut unites these two requirements perfectly in the Alugator Light avalanche shovel.

Probe 240 short

From long to short - when assembled, the Mammut Probe 240 short measures the standard length of 240 cm. Thanks a total of seven instead of the previous six aluminum elements with an 11 mm diameter, it shrinks to just 38 cm when dismantled.
