Lowa Unveils Spring 2022 Line Focusing On Emerging Lifestyle Category With Crossover Styles

LOWA Boots, the global footwear brand known for its nearly 100 years of hand-crafted European heritage, has debuted its Spring 2022 line that not only blends updated popular styles resonating with brand loyalists, but also, focuses on today’s emerging everyday lifestyle category. The collection incorporates both function and style, tapping into the increased demand for multipurpose footwear. Spring ’22 also marks LOWA’s 25-year celebration of its award-winning Renegade, an iconic hiking boot that has set the standard for multifunction, outdoor boots. “As we’ve seen throughout the pandemic, there’s been a stimulated appetite for multipurpose shoes that effortlessly crossover from outdoor activities to casual, everyday activities,” said Peter Sachs, general manager of LOWA. “LOWA’s outdoor heritage is easily transferable to today’s modern styles, appealing to a wider variety of consumers looking for footwear they can wear all the time without sacrificing style, performance and functionality.”

Within the Mountaineering category, LOWA will introduce the Alpine Evo GTX ($425) for men. For elite alpinists, this technical boot is lightweight yet features performance details for challenging terrain. In addition, the Cadin II GTX Mid ($340) for both men and women has been refreshed with a modern silhouette, with a new lacing system for enhanced comfort and a new sole package for added cushioning and stability. 

In Backpacking/Trekking, the Camino Evo GTX ($335) for men has been updated with a new sole package with added cushioning for enhanced stability and walking comfort. For women, the Mauria Evo GTX ($335) has also been revamped with a new sole package while retaining LOWA’s proven lacing system to ensure all-day comfort. 

In the All Terrain Classic category, the acclaimed Renegade GTX Mid ($245) will be available in new colorways, dark blue/lime for men, and mahogany/navy and navy/grey for women. The Zephyr GTX Mid ($220) will also be available in new colorways for women in muted earth tones for a fresh look. For All Terrain Sport, the Axos GTX Mid and Lo ($230-$250) for men and women is a dynamic shoe with a modern look and lightweight athletic performance and is made with 100% vegan materials. 

In the Everyday Outdoor category, the Malta GTX Mid and Lo ($190-$210), for men and women, blends the performance of an outdoor shoe with the look of a luxury sneaker for a stylish crossover that easily transitions from city streets to the outdoors. Rounding out the Everyday Outdoor category is the Fusion Lo ($170) for men and women, a true hybrid shoe that’s ideal for after-sport recovery or everyday use. The Fusion Lo is a convenient slip-on concept with an urban look that is ultralightweight yet supportive and features LOWA’s  patented high-rise PU MONOWRAP frame, exclusive DynaPU® midsole construction, and lugged outsole. 

In the Kids’ category, the fourth generation of the Kody Evo GTX now has a DynaPU® midsole and VIBRAM® Renevo II outsole for enhanced stability and traction and features new patterns on the split leather/fabric upper. The Cadin GTX Mid Junior appeals to children and parents with a new modern “big kid” look, featuring a taller shaft for support on the trail.
