French ski resort Les Arcs is set to open its slopes in less than a month, with the resort already blanketed in snow (see attached photo) and its high-tech snow making, which covers 50% of the ski area, already in operation.

Les Arcs, which boasts 425km of runs up to 3250m as part of the Paradiski area, opens on 16th December 2017 until 28th April 2018 due its high altitude, balcony position, and this year is offering a ‘snow guarantee’. All season, guests will be able to exchange their lift pass for another week if they aren’t able to ski because of the snow conditions.

This Christmas, Les Arcs will become a mecca for families and children as it rolls out a special ‘Kids Ski for Free’ offer this Christmas.  For any holiday booked with Les Arcs Reservation from 23rd – 30th December, children under 12 get a free ski pass and free ski rental when two adults buy two adult Paradiski or Les Arcs/Peisey-Valandry lift passes (which will have a 10% discount) and ski rental.

And if that is not enough for the children, on Christmas Eve in Les Arcs, Santa can deliver Christmas presents to your hotel, chalet or apartment – a treat that all children will love. The service can be booked online at www.lesarcs.com or directly with the Les Arcs tourist office. Space is limited so book early.

Families will also love the newly re-vamped Vallee de L’Arc area within the Les Arcs ski area, which has benefited from nearly 18 million euros of investment. There is the new Pre Saint Esprit chairlift equipped with protective covers and heated seats which is twice as quick as previous seasons. The Vallee de L’Arc run has also been widened and snow guns added, making it perfect for beginners and intermediates. The area is now a key link between Arc 1600, Villaroger and Arc 2000, confirming that Les Arcs is the perfect place for families to learn to ski and progress.
