Les Arcs Announces 81% Apartment Occupancy Rate In January 2024

French ski resort Les Arcs, which boasts skiing up to 3226m and 70% of the mountain ski area above 2000m, has announced a 81% occupancy rate of commercial apartments in the resort in January 2024 compared to an average of 75.9% in the other major French ski resorts.

With snow levels at 2000m currently 485cm compared to 130cm this time last year, the resort continues to deliver snowsure snow conditions for its visitors. And the large snow base promises to offer good skiing throughout the spring, when the resort comes to life with a plethora of activities.

March and April sees Les Arcs host various activities; from speed skiing to closing parties. There is something on offer for everyone, making a visit to Les Arcs more than just a ski holiday 

Les Arcs spring event highlights include:

  • “A vos m’Arcs” Monoski event - Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March: A weekend devoted to those who love monoski
  • Archi Design event - 3rd to 5th April: Les Arcs will be buzzing with design and architecture for a whole week. A packed programme of conferences, guided tours, exhibitions and an architecture competition
  • Speed Skiing - Thursday 11th April and Friday 12th April: Speed skiing on a timed course on Plagnettes slopes from 10am to 4pm
  • Ninja Warrior for kids - Thursday 11th April: Children can take part in Ninja Warrior in Arc 1800 from 2 to 6pm
  • Ski 2 Bike – Sunday 14th April: From skis to a mountain bike, individually or as a team of two, aiming to be the fastest from Les Arcs to Bourg Saint Maurice – Sunday 14th April 2024. Click here for more information
  • Closing Party Folie Douce - Saturday 20th April: Time to party as the infamous apres-ski venue closes its doors for the season
  • Closing concert ‘Pink Party’ - Thursday 25th April: Final concert in Arc 1800
  • The Funicular Ascent – Saturday 27th April: To celebrate the end of the winter season, runners and walkers challenge themselves for 6 hours by completing the maximum number of climbs on a 5.1 km course with 817m of elevation gain. Take up the challenge on foot, on a signposted path from Bourg Saint Maurice to the funicular arrival station at Arc 1600.Click here for more information
