Jasna Adventures Launch New Ski Holidays For This Winter As WFT Event Confirmed For March 2020

Jasna Adventures, the independent ski chalet company based at the resort of Jasna, Slovakia has just launched its series of season 2020 ski holidays for all types of skiers and snowboarders, including a special chalet holiday designed and priced exclusively for solo travellers.

Based at their own custom designed ski chalet, The Dragon’s Lair, the holidays present an alternative and affordable option for skiers and snowboarders looking for a resort with exceptional standards and infrastructure, but with lower prices than they would typically find in the rest of Europe.

Going solo

This season solo skiers also get their chance to experience a chalet ski holiday without the expense of single loadings and surcharges.

Justin Garrett, Co-owner of Jasna Adventures, said: “We get requests every season from solo skiers, so we thought this season we’ll create a dedicated package for singles to enjoy a chalet ski holiday without all the usual single occupancy loadings.

“Whether you choose to travel solo because you have flexibility with your time or your mates can’t keep up with you on the snow doesn’t really matter.  We just want everyone to have a good time, whether that be mixing with a group or other solo skiers or doing their own thing.”

The solo skier package runs from 5 – 12 JAN (7 nights) including chalet accommodation with breakfast, use of sauna and hot tub, 6-day ski pass, airport transfers, daily après drink and snacks and ski hosting.

Groups and family

For larger groups, the whole chalet is available on exclusive basis, with the flexibility of B&B, 7 nights half-board, or a mix of half-board and meals outside at local restaurants (with transport provided).

Jasna Adventures owns and operates the chalet, which opened in 2017 and is a classic Alps design making it a one of a kind at Jasna.  The chalet is fully hosted, has a large lounge, with a sauna and outdoor hot tub, and guests benefit from daily lift transfers and evening transport if they choose to head out for dinner.

Keep on learning

This coming season Jasna Nizke Tatry ski resort continues to offer great value for money, particularly for those that want to improve their skiing – regardless of their level. A two-hour group lesson is 42€ per person, and 2 hour private lesson is 79€. A four-day learn to ski lesson package is 99€, which equates to just over 12€ per hour. And those wanting to try off-piste with a top level instructor, a four-hour beginner off-piste lesson for two people is 148€ (Avalanche kit required – available for rent).

As Justin explains, “It doesn’t matter if you’re a first timer or seasoned pro – Jasna provides something for everyone. Easy piste, difficult piste, trees or alpine, or off-piste and freeride – it’s all there and very accessible. There’s not many resorts where you can ride to the top station, walk 20m and drop straight into one of the best couloirs the resort has to offer.”
