Jakob Rope Systems Delivers Piste Winch Ropes From Express Warehouse

Jakob Rope Systems is now quickly supplying ski resorts and piste operators with piste winch ropes from Germany. Jakob sets up an express warehouse at the Göppingen location. This means we can deliver quickly when new piste winch ropes are needed for seasonal operation.

With a diameter only as thick as a ballpoint pen, they can support the full weight of a snow groomer on a steep slope. Snow winch ropes are the tough workhorses in the wide range of ropes at Jakob Rope Systems. Their special construction gives the ropes maximum load-bearing capacity and smooth running properties.

During seasonal operation of a ski area, piste winch ropes can be unexpectedly damaged. Then a short-term replacement is needed. In order to deliver to customers in the ski areas in Germany as quickly as possible, Jakob Rope Systems is setting up an express warehouse at the company's location in Göppingen. This means that the rope specialist for German and border winter sports areas can be reached quickly in an emergency.

The range of piste winch ropes

Jakob Rope Systems offers two types of piste winch ropes - all for retrofitting to Kässbohrer and Prinoth vehicles. The Winch King 9 is a 9-strand special rope with a diameter of 11 millimeters and is optimized for the capstan winches of Kässbohrer vehicles. The Winch Power 8 as an 8-strand special rope with a diameter of 10 or 11 millimeters is used on the drum winches of Prinoth vehicles. The Göppingen express warehouse will initially have ropes with a length of 1,050 meters and a diameter of 11 millimeters in stock for both vehicle manufacturers.

The Swiss rope specialists advise on all questions regarding the purchase, use and also the condition or damage of existing ropes. Customers can send in photos or material at any time.
