The ISPO Award 2022 is breaking new ground: without segment boundaries, but thanks to a new jury concept and year-round awards with even more proximity to consumer experts and seasonal trends. The first winners of the ISPO Award 2022 are distinguished by one thing in particular: The consistent further development of existing concepts towards more lightness, functionality and sustainability. We provide a sneak peek at the first award-winning products of the ISPO Award 2022.
Premiere at the ISPO Award! With the first winners of the ISPO Award 2022, the most renowned seal of quality in the sports and outdoor industry is entering a new era. From now on, the ISPO Award will be presented throughout the year.
This means that the ISPO Award will be even closer to product releases and seasonal innovations. The award winners, in turn, enjoy year-round international coverage. The division into segments as well as different winner categories are also history.
Individually published review articles for the individual awards create even more proximity to business professionals and consumers in a targeted manner. The 2x annual exhibition and ceremony of the winners at the ISPO trade shows remains and continues to provide a complete overview.
The way the independent ISPO Award jury works is also new: It meets four times a year to scrutinize the best products, services, and apps in the sports and outdoor world.
At the beginning of January 2022, the jury met for the first time for the ISPO Award 2022. And with a new composition: For the first time ever, half of the expert panel consists of consumer experts, sports enthusiasts from the ISPO Collaborators Club, and thus forms the voice of the ISPO jury.the voice of the consumer.
The clear trend is called:Re-Invention. The industry is clearly moving: Products are being reworked and reissued in a more contemporary way - especially in favor of more environmentally friendly material choices and processing methods. For example, more and more brands are focusing on reusable raw materials, the elimination of harmful chemicals, and a focus on durability and the disposal issue. However, topics such as easier access to sports and outdoor, digital as well as new highly functional solutions are also not neglected.
