1. Relaxed arrival amidst the wintry mountain scenery & first discovery tour

Arrived in Innsbruck - ideally comfortably by train - and checked in at your accommodation, you go directly to the pulsating center of the old town. The historic buildings are waiting there, surrounded by the magnificent mountain scenery of the Nordkette. A selfie in front of the Golden Roof is a must. The city tower provides a first overview of the Alpine capital. Climbed 133 steps, everyone stays away the spit at first. Nordkette, Patscherkofel, Serles. The rooftops of Innsbruck. One of them shines particularly golden. The view from the 31 meter high platform is truly breathtaking. Equally impressive is the Bergisel ski jump, which can already be seen from the city tower. With the hop on hop off Bus Sightseer, the way from the old town to Bergisel is not that far. From the ski jump and the Bergisel SKY restaurant,

2. A leisurely start to skiing fun & relaxing "après-ski" in the pool

Swap your sightseeing outfit for a ski suit and ski equipment - and nothing stands in the way of your first day on the slopes in the Innsbruck region. The ski bus takes you from Innsbruck to the Axamer Lizum ski area, around 19 kilometers away - from the Golden Roof to the "White Roof", so to speak. The Axamer Lizum is one of the 13 ski areas that are included in the SKI plus CITY Pass. With nine cable cars and lifts, over 40 kilometers of perfectly groomed pistes and an extensive freeride area, the "Lizum", as the locals affectionately call the ski area, offers ideal conditions for making your first turns in the snow. After pure skiing fun, the “Après-Ski” can be relaxed with the SKI plus CITY Pass: In the indoor swimming pool in Axams, the skiers’ calves can regenerate particularly well in the pleasantly warm water.

3. High up in Kühtai & magically through the LUMAGICA Innsbruck light park

Snow-sure skiing fun awaits all SKI-plus-CITY-Pass holders in the Ski Resort Kühtai at 2,020 meters. The range of slopes offers descents of all levels of difficulty and for every taste: families love the wide slopes, freeskiers and snowboarders have their home base in the KPARK Kühtai with the FreeStyle Area & SnowCross, and the KidsPark for children and fun park newcomers guarantees action. After a successful day of skiing in Kühtai, a special highlight awaits in Innsbruck's Hofgarten: the magical light park LUMAGICA Innsbruck. The colorful and interactive light shows take visitors on a journey around the world. On the 1.5 kilometer long circular route through the wintry backdrop of the Hofgarten, all continents are touched on thematically.

Day 4: Explore the Innsbruck region "carefully".

Away from the fun on the slopes, there are numerous – sport-free – lifestyle activities waiting. It is clear that in Innsbruck this does not necessarily mean that the day is spent in the valley: the Nordkette cable cars take you high up to the Hafelekar. The summit invites you to take the highest city walk that Innsbruck has to offer. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the mountain station to the highest point of the Nordkette. Arrived at 2,334 meters, a unique 360-degree panorama opens up. The hustle and bustle of the city on one side. The silence of the Karwendel Nature Park on the other. You have to experience this contrast. On the way from the "Top of Innsbruck" back to the city, a visit to the Alpenzoo Innsbruck is a good idea. With 2,000 animals from 150 species, the world's largest collection of animals from the Alpine region awaits. Capricorn, Seeing moose and bear up close is a special experience. A visit to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens is simply magical. In the snow-covered "green giant" underground chambers of wonder with the variety of crystal await, and in the beautifully landscaped garden one encounters contemporary art, history and unique entertainment.

5. On the glacier, get set, go!

Winter sports enthusiasts experience the “crowning” skiing pleasure on the Stubai Glacier, the kingdom of snow. After arriving by ski bus, 110 kilometers of fun on the slopes await in Austria's largest glacier ski area. Whether beginner, advanced or professional, everyone is enthusiastic about carving their turns here. Absolute highlight for those in good physical condition: the ten-kilometer (!) descent from the Wildspitz mountain station at 3,210 meters to the valley station at 1,750 meters. Those who need a breather can enjoy high-quality, typically Tyrolean specialties in the restaurants and huts. Definitely try: Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel - homemade and simply delicious. Whether on the piste or comfortably in a deck chair at the edge of the piste, you can enjoy a day of skiing to the fullest on the Stubai Glacier.
