Hintertux Park Opening Returns From October 3-5, 2025
A true milestone was celebrated last fall with the 20th edition of the Hintertux Park Opening. For two decades, Hintertux is the ultimate kick-off to the new winter season like no other snow park. And the story continues with new chapters: The Hintertux Park Opening 2025 takes place from October 3-5, 2025.
Top riders, amateurs, scene idols, industry insiders, and winter sports enthusiasts once again come together to kick off the winter season at the Hintertux Park Opening.

In 2025, in addition to the proven program highlights, a new competition for freeskiers will be included, joining the snowboarders on the scene.
At the heart of the event is Betterpark Hintertux. After its summer break, Wille Kaufmann and his crew will shape the park to perfection as usual. One thing is certain: the jumps, rails and various lines appeal to both pro riders and freestyle beginners – whether on one board or two. Betterpark Hintertux runs on its own schedule – it opens early autumn and goes into hibernation by the end of November. It then reopens in April, extending the freestyle season for snowboarders and freeskiers all the way into June.
Currently, Betterpark Hintertux is open until June 1, 2025. One last visit is well worth it before putting your snowboard or skis away for the summer.
