"We are aware that the mountain railways will face new challenges this winter", states Matthias In-Albon, Managing Director Bergahnen Destination Gstaad (BDG). "Nevertheless, I am optimistic about the future and I am convinced that, thanks to the investments made in recent years and with new offers such as the Eggli mountain restaurant, we can again welcome numerous guests". In recent years, the BDG has increased the attractiveness of the ski area with new lifts and snow-making systems. In order to be able to offer the guests a more comfortable and attractive winter sports offer, high investments were made. As a result, the prices for seasonal subscriptions will be slightly adjusted this winter: the Top 4 subscription now costs CHF 777 in all four ski regions and the season subscription for locals costs CHF 599.

Gstaad is a pleasure destination and is also offering winter guests new offers in the coming season away from the slopes. Winter hikers, snowshoe and touring skiers as well as sledging fans can look forward to the new Eggli mountain restaurant. The opening is planned for the start of the winter season on December 19, 2020.
