Groundbreaking Ceremony For New Lech Bergbahnen Staff Housing Takes Place

The groundbreaking ceremony marked the official start of construction of a new team building for Lech Bergbahnen AG (LBB) with 41 residential units in the Zug district. In attendance were our representatives, architect Johannes Kaufmann, David Nussbaumer from the general contractor Kaufmann Zwei, and representatives of the participating construction companies, including Christoph Rüf.
In the past, it was often necessary to rent expensive accommodations for employees. To better meet the increasing expectations and needs of employees, the Supervisory Board of Lech Bergbahnen AG has approved the construction of another team house as a first step. A total of 41 turnkey residential units are planned, featuring high-quality furnishings and complemented by an underground garage with 33 parking spaces. Completion is scheduled for time for the new winter season.
The construction is carried out using intelligent wooden modular construction, a method that the company kaufmann zimmerei und tischlerei GmbH has been using successfully for years. Serial production in the hall results in high-quality modules with all the necessary installations, regardless of weather conditions. This construction method combines traditional craftsmanship with modern industrial methods, which not only guarantees the highest quality of workmanship but also significantly shortens construction times.
Klaus Nußbaumer, Managing Director of Lech Bergbahnen: "We are not only creating modern living space for our employees, but are also setting a clear example for sustainable and efficient construction."
