Gordini Names HFS Communications As Public Relations Partner

Gordini, designing innovative cold-weather equipment since 1956, announces it has partnered with HFS Communications to manage U.S. public relations efforts, effective immediately.  HFS, an omni-channel public relations and social communications agency, will lead Gordini’s national strategy, building awareness around its robust line of men’s, women’s and kid’s gloves, goggles and face protection.

Born in the mountains and on the waters of New England, HFS is an omni-channel public relations, content and social communications agency with a passion for supporting consumer brands. Throughout the years, the agency has spread its wings and leveraged a combined, broad expertise to serve many different categories. HFS currently works with outdoor, active lifestyle, fashion, beauty, food, beverage/spirit and luxury brands and has had success working with established brands, as well as newly-funded startups

“Selecting a PR agency is an important decision, and one we did not take lightly, as Gordini approaches our busiest season as well as an important milestone, the brand’s 65th anniversary,” said David Gellis, Gordini President. “In HFS, we found true partners who integrated seamlessly with our team, taking the time to understand our heritage, priorities, and vision. We are looking forward to a successful relationship.”

In addition to supporting Gordini’s collections of consumer products, ranging from ski/snow to backcountry, run, hunt and lifestyle offerings, HFS will be working closely with Gordini’s established and growing team of athletes, as well as supporting social media efforts and industry events.

“While today’s challenging circumstances persist and have changed some of the dynamics surrounding awareness campaigns and traditional media relations, we are continuing to develop creative and virtual options for sharing Gordini’s brand and product stories,” said Emily Snayd, Partner at HFS Communications.  “We are incredibly grateful for clients like the Gordini team who are open to new ideas, trust their selected PR agency, and are truly led by their passion for their purpose.”

Based in Vermont and independently-owned, Gordini has focused on the same mission since its founding 65 years ago: to keep hands warm and dry so you can stay outside longer. From its earliest innovations in down-insulated and waterproof gloves, to today’s advancements in 3D-knitting and synthetic leather, Gordini has always worked to combine proven materials with the latest in technology to deliver the best product on the market. Gordini believes that handwear, face protection, and goggles are not merely accessories – they are equipment and should be built to endure the most demanding conditions season after season

For the Winter ’21 season, Gordini has introduced the Clutch Synthetic Leather, featured in more than 10 glove and mitt styles for men and women. The signature material offers an animal-free alternative that outperforms traditional leathers and suedes. Clutch styles are now available at www.gordini.com, as well as at retailers nationwide including Scheels, Ramsey Outdoors and Stratton Mountain, Winter Park and Steamboat resorts.
