Inside the Fence – All in good time
In its latest Inside the Fence video, FIS Cross-Country followed the timing crew around a World Cup event. From start lists to intermediate timing points to photo finishes to the course profiles, and all the TV graphics, many elements are crucial to timing analysing and communicating a successful World Cup event.
Behind the Scenes: Getting to know the 2022 Olympic venue
At the recent FIS World Cup competitions in Secret Garden (CHN), Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard venue for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games, Swiss rider Pat Burgener took a look at the surroundings and explored the Chinese culture.
French Ski Federation launches video platform
The French Ski Federation (FFS), in collaboration with Mont Blanc Médias, recently launched a digital platform “FFS TV” to better serve their fans and offer additional exposure for sports and athletes. The free platform features live sports events, competition highlights and exclusive content surrounding the French Team.

WADA Prohibited List for 2018 comes into effect
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List for 2018 went into effect on 1st January 2018.
The List, which is one of five International standards that are mandatory for all signatories of the World Anti-Doping Code, designates what substances and methods are prohibited both in- and out-of-competition; and, which substances are banned in particular sports.
